RP so far- taken from notes:
Aeneas-
Aeneas was a tall and muscular dog. He envisioned the norm of the Aurora Pack. The pack which he had recently become the beta of. He moved across the sand with ease and left little trance behind. Which was surprising for a dog his size. He was going to see Candice a dog he had been acquainted with long before either of them rose to any power in their packs. She was now the alpha of the Opacre Pack. She was their leader and for many a role model, but to Aeneas she was still just Candice.
They met at night. That was easiest for them. He would be finishing his patrol, she would be starting hers. The sun was just beginning to peak over the dunes when he saw her silhouette in the distance. She cast a long shadow in front, it was always easiest to spot dogs out this early. He presumed that a similar shadow followed him. He came unguarded, knowing that they wouldn't fight and knowing they came as friends. If this was a council the situation would be very different.
"Good morning"his voice boomed as he smiled slightly.
Candice-
Candice made her way down from the top of the dune she stood on, sand pouring where her paws landed like tiny avalanches. It had been quite some time since she'd seen her old friend, Aeneas, even before he had become beta, and though she wished to congratulate her old friend, there were much more important matters at hand. It was the dreams she'd been having, they'd gotten much worse lately. At first she had dismissed it as her overactive mind, but for the past week or so, it had haunted her sleep over and over until it was impossible to ignore any longer. She had consulted an oracle, who'd reported having the same dreams as her, so she had decided she would have to see a friend from another pack as well, to learn whether they'd had the same experience.
Aeneas stood in the sand, his stocky form outlined by his shadow which trailed far behind him in the morning sun. She gave him a smile, "Salve, Aeneas. How have you been?"
Aeneas-
"Salve"
As she came forward Aeneas sat. He watched the sand dislodged by her paws. The grains slipped from under her nails. They worried him. It reminded him of dreams he had been having. Sand coming to cover them all. His brows furrowed.
"I have been well, I trust you have been to?"
He wanted his friend to be well. Only a enemy would wish other wise and then they wouldn't be friends. Bags under his eyes probably told Candice other wise. He shook his head a little bit an empty attempt to get rid of the tiredness. His jowls made a weird sloppy noise as his eyes fixed on Candice again.
